Seeing the ISS (International Space Station) fly directly overhead tonight gave me goosebumps — I was so excited! It would be such a neat experience to see the shuttle (or whatever it becomes in the future) launch in person at Cape Canaveral, Florida.
It got me thinking about what other great life experiences I want to have before I “kick the bucket”. So, here’s my Bucket List. I’ll probably add and edit this one as I go along. I don’t really think they’re in any particular order.
Bucket List
- Ride in a hot air balloon
- Visit India and see the Taj Mahal
- Visit Japan and eat fugu (blowfish)
- Take an Alaskan cruise
- Sing the national anthem at a game
- Publish at least one novel
- Play in the American Crossword Puzzle Tournament (and not suck!)
- Be able to hike down to Phantom Ranch at the bottom of the Grand Canyon
- See the Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights)
- Learn to speak (and read) Japanese
- See the shuttle launch in person

Great list! Need to add some of those to my own list, although I probably wouldn’t call mine a “bucket list”.

Excellent ideas. I have a very long list myself, and I should pare it down to be more realistic
#2,#4 #8 and #9 are definitely on my to dos, as well as hiking to Everest Base Camp, climb the Inca Trail, go to Egypt and see the pyramids, horseback ride on a beach
